Biennale College Teatro / Alberto Colombo Sormani - Imago Vocis
Description
Alberto Colombo Sormani intertwines his vocation for theatre with the study of astrophysics, his attention to new technologies with the language of the body. Inspired by the theories of quantum mechanics, which convey the image of a relational world—a fluid reality in which entities are never completely independent or defined, but take shape through a network of interactions—Imago Vocis | spacetime in-between brings to the stage bodies, voices and presences that are no longer observable as separate elements, but as parts of a relational process in continuous transformation.
Sounds and images are captured and manipulated live, making perceptible traces, vibrations and transformations that do not belong to the immediately visible dimension. The Audio-video interaction thus becomes a device for experiencing another reality, made up of effects, resonances and distortions.
On stage, two people and a bond in constant transformation, showing how identity is not something fixed, but something that emerges, transforms, and dissolves within the relationship.
