Description
The exhibition recognises the countryside as an independent object of research, a product of states’ explicit social and spatial experiments. It is here, outside of the city, that we seek answers to the question How will we live together? The project in general focuses on the European post-socialist countryside, and in particular on the case of Poland – a country where 93% of the area is considered as rural. In the context of an ongoing climate crisis, an internal migration towards the countryside, and a problematic planning legislation, we must shift the debate towards the rural, seeking possible solutions and opportunities through a reintroduction of the idea of commons.
