New project of site-specific sound installations

The workshop is dedicated to young composers interested in site-specific sound installations for one of the selected Venetian sites proposed by the Biennale Musica.

The new sound-installation will be presented within the Biennale Musica (14-25 September 2022) in a space which will be proposed according to the selected project.

The selected composer will get the opportunity to create his/her world premiere in different stages, which will be aimed at the conception of the project and its production and realization in the frame of the Biennale Musica 2022.

If electronic treatment or amplification were needed, dedicated sessions will be organized in the CIMM Studios (La Biennale di Venezia Centre for Computer Music and Multimedia)

The Biennale College Musica team will be in contact with the selected composer throughout the whole process of composition (from March to September 2022) and will be available for suggestions and revisions of the new project.
