Biennale College Musica 2024
Performers - percussion

The workshop is dedicated to young percussionists interested in the performance of Le noir de l'étoile by Gérard Grisey. The selected performer will present his/her interpretation at the Biennale Musica in a concert featuring the Ensemble This Ensemble That and Federico Tramontana. During the different stages of the workshops the participant will learn new instrumental techniques connected with the proposed score. The first stage will be focused on the analysis of different scores for percussion and the practice of the different performative aspects. Following stages will be dedicated to the rehearsals and production of the concert.

The Biennale College Musica team will be in contact with the performer throughout the whole process of creation of the concert (from March to September 2024) and will be available for suggestions and revisions.
