Born in a Camp holds letters, memoirs, stories, write ups, and poetry from Rohingya refugee camps to tell the stories of its community to the world. The installation travels around the world, temporarily “nesting” in places before moving on to another, showing how anyone can “build back strong.” How anyone can have the passion to go beyond. How anyone can practice better, even after the worst happens. The installation will continue its journey until it finds a good resting place.
