Synopsis
Serhii, a young man who fills his days with volunteer work, loses contact with his mother living in occupied territory. When his mother finally decides to evacuate, he learns that a humanitarian convoy from his hometown has been destroyed in a bombing raid.
Director’s Statement
This film explores the inevitable distance that grows between a person and the place they come from. It tells the story of a young man caught between childhood and adulthood, forced to face responsibilities he is not ready for. I was interested in how this moment of transition feels — subtle, indescribable, but deeply present. When the bond between mother and child is suddenly broken, what remains is only the fragile connection that can never be rewoven.
