Plantation Futures is an experimental video speculating on the future of Louisiana’s “Plantation Country.” Through the layering of eco-poetry and digital technologies, the film gives voice to historically muted narratives. As these voices resound, interspecies kinship and ecological reparations disrupt colonial legacies, forging radical planetary futures for the region’s communities.
