How To Access
Venice VR Expanded
The 78th Venice International Film Festival accreditation holders may view the Venice VR Expanded Official Selection:
· At the VR Gallery on the 2nd floor of Palazzo del Casinò, upon reservation via the Boxol platform.
· Online on HTC Viveport, Oculus Store and VRChat through PCVR and Oculus Quest headsets
VR GALLERY AT PALAZZO DEL CASINÒ
The VR Gallery on the 2nd floor of the Palazzo del Casinò is open every day, from September 1st to 11th, 10 am until 10 pm.
78th VIFF accreditation holders can reserve a 1 hour timeslot on the Boxol platform, , in the section “VR Gallery – Palazzo del Casinò”, via the event “VR Gallery Reservation”.
HTC VIVEPORT
The Venice VR Expanded selection available on Viveport is accessible from September 1st to 19th through personal access codes.
VR Accreditation and 78th VIFF accreditation pass holders can request their personal Viveport access code on the Boxol platform, in the section “VR Online”, via theevent “Access codes to VR official selection online”.

OCULUS STORE
The Venice VR Expanded selection available on Oculus is accessible from September 1st to 19th through personal access codes.
VR Accreditation and 78th VIFF accreditation pass holders can request their personal Oculus access codes via the Boxol platform, in the section “VR Online”, via the event “Access codes to VR official selection online”.
To access the selection on Oculus:
- Go to secure.oculus.com/redeem-code/
- Sign in with your own login details
- Enter your Oculus Code: view image
- The Venice VR Expanded projects will appear as unlocked
- Go to your Quest and the apps will appear in your “New In Your Library” section

PROJECTS UPON RESERVATION
Four projects in the Venice VR Expanded selection are upon reservation.
VR Accreditation and 78th VIFF accreditation pass holders can find the information on how to book the time slots for the four real time Venice VR Expanded projects upon reservation from September 1st to 19th on the Boxol platform, in the section “VR Online”, the event “Access codes to VR official selection online”.

VRCHAT
The Venice VR Expanded world on VRChat hosts the online social dimension of the section where all our social events, meetings, talks and parties are held and where it is possible to explore the 34 VRChat worlds from our VRChat Worlds Gallery selection (for the first time in a festival selection).

In order to access the private instance and the events of our world, please register your VRChat username on the Boxol platform, in the section “VR Online”, via the event “Venice VR Expanded online world on VRChat”.

- V78 Event Host
Two of the Venice VR Expanded projects in Competition will be available on VRChat as well.
VR Chat app can be downloaded via Viveport, Oculus store or Steam.
