Venezia 76

The Jury for the Venezia 76 Competition will award the following official prizes: Golden Lion for Best Film; Silver Lion - Grand Jury Prize; Silver Lion – Award for Best Director; Coppa Volpi for Best Actor; Coppa Volpi for Best Actress; Award for Best Screenplay; the Special Jury Prize and “Marcello Mastroianni” Award for Best New Young Actor or Actress. The personalities convened as members of the Jury for the Venezia 76 Competition are:

· Lucrecia Martel - President (Argentina), director
· Piers Handling (Canada), historian and critic
· Mary Harron (Canada), director
· Stacy Martin (UK), actress
· Rodrigo Prieto (Mexico), director of photography
· Tsukamoto Shinya (Japan), director
· Paolo Virzì (Italy), director

Orizzonti

The Jury for the Orizzonti Competition will award the following prizes, with no ex aequo awards permitted: Orizzonti Award for Best Film; Orizzonti Award for Best Director; Special Orizzonti Jury Prize; Orizzonti Award for Best Actor; Orizzonti Award  for Best Actress; Orizzonti Award for Best Screenplay; Orizzonti Award for Best Short Film. The members of the international Jury of the Orizzonti section are:

· Susanna Nicchiarelli - President (Italy), director
· Mark Adams (UK), artistic director
· Rachid Bouchareb (France), director
· Álvaro Brechner (Uruguay), director
· Eva Sangiorgi (Italy), artistic director

“Luigi De Laurentiis” Venice Award for a Debut Film – Lion of the Future

An international Jury will award, with no ex aequo awards permitted, the Lion of the Future – “Luigi De Laurentiis” Venice Award for a Debut Film to one of the debut feature-length films selected from the various competition sections of the Venice Film Festival (Official Selection and Independent and Parallel Sections). It comes with a cash prize of 100,000 USD donated by Filmauro, to be divided equally between the director and the producer. The members of the international Jury of the “Luigi De Laurentiis” Venice Award for a Debut Film – Lion of the Future are:

· Emir Kusturica - President (Serbia), director
· Antonietta De Lillo (Italy), director
· Hend Sabry (Tunisia), actress
· Michael J. Werner (Hong Kong SAR, USA), producer
· Terence Nance (USA), director

Venice Virtual Reality

The Jury of Venice Virtual Reality will award, with no ex aequo awards permitted, the following prizes: Grand Jury Prize for Best VR Immersive Work, Best VR Immersive Experience for interactive content, Best VR Immersive Story for linear content. The members of the international Jury of the Venice Virtual Reality are:

· Laurie Anderson - President (USA), composer, artist, director
· Francesco Carrozzini (Italy), photographer
· Alysha Naples (Italy), designer

Venice Classics

The Jury of Venice Classics, composed of 22 cinema history students – nominated by their professors – from Italian universities, DAMS performing arts courses, and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, will award the Venice Classics Award for the Best Restored Film, with no ex aequo awards permitted. The Jury may also give an Award to the Best documentary on cinema presented within the section. The Jury of Venice Classics is chaired by:
