The 4th edition of the Venice Production Bridge, organized by La Biennale di Venezia, will be held from August 29th to September 3rd on the third floor of the Excelsior Hotel at Lido di Venezia, during the 76th Venice International Film Festival (August 28th – September 7th).

Confirming its worldwide uniqueness, the Venice Production Bridge will propose the following events:

During 3 days, the VGFM offers to the producers of feature films and documentaries, Interactive and VR projects the possibility to encounter financiers through 30-minute one-to-one meetings.
  • Final Cut in Venice (August 31st – September 2nd): The seventh edition of this workshop will present a limited number of quality rough cuts coming from all African countries, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Syria and Lebanon and will give them the opportunity of finding the post-production financing through our partners and the participants.
  • Book Adaptation Rights Market (August 30th - September 1st): 25 International publishers will propose the adaptation rights of their works (novels, essays, graphic novels, children literature…) through one-to-one meetings with producers.
  • European Film Forum (August 31st): European stories go global: promoting European audiovisual works beyond Europe.
In association with the EU's Creative Europe MEDIA programme, La Biennale di Venezia will organize the 5th edition of the European Film Forum with the attendance of key industry leaders from all over the world. Seizing the opportunity of celebrating the 76th anniversary of the Venice International Film Festival, this event will focus on how to ensure that European works attract larger audiences in key third markets, including Asia and the Americas. The event will be opened by Paolo Baratta, President of La Biennale di Venezia, and a key note speech will be given by Commissioner Mariya Gabriel, responsible for the Digital Economy and Society.

The Venice Production Bridge will offer traditional services such as the Industry Gold Club, the Digital Video Library, an Exhibition Area, VPB Market Screenings, a Business Centre, and numerous international panels and networking events.
