On the Other Earth is a new, post-cinematic choreographic installation inspired by Wayne McGregor’s latest live stage work DEEPSTARIA that refracts, evolves and reimagines the work’s conceptual DNA into a startingly original new form of experience.

In this work, William Forsythe (recipient of the Golden Lion in 2010) collaborates with Rauf “RubberLegz” Yasit and a group of dancers from diverse cultural and stylistic backgrounds, including folk dance, hip-hop and ballet.

Born in Valencia in 1982, Marcos Morau builds imaginary worlds and landscapes with a lucid look towards con­temporaneity. Since 2004 he has directed La Veronal, which has become one of the most prominent dance com­panies on the European scene.

One of the longest­-running and most recognised contemporary dance companies in Italy, the Nuovo Balletto di Toscana aims to be a living and dynamic laboratory for contemporary creation.
