The 67th International Festival of Contemporary Music will run from 16-29 October 2023, dedicated to digital sound and to its production and diffusion in the acoustic space.
Micro-Music is the title of the 67th International Festival of Contemporary Music that will take place from 16 to 29 October 2023, directed by Lucia Ronchetti. The Festival programme is dedicated to digital sound and presents a broad spectrum of stylistic trends and innovative creative research on the international music scene, in installation, performance and online forms, with many world premieres commissioned by La Biennale di Venezia and co-productions with leading international festivals.
Once more this year, the Biennale College Musica becomes an integrated project of the Biennale Musica 2023. Ten new productions in the College Musica are to be part of the Festival’s programme in an autonomous section titled Digital Sound Horizons, that will explore the present and future boundaries of the interaction between science, technology and musical creativity. The Biennale College Musica 2023 has included 10 musicians, performers, sound artists and programmers from several different countries.
